Uğur YILDIRIM graduated from Istanbul University in 2000. He established Yıldırım Law Firm in 2001. In 2006, Yıldırım completed his master’s degree in private law at Marmara University at the Institute of Social Sciences and did a dissertation on “Penal Clause”.

Uğur YILDIRIM provides as founding partner his national and international clients consultancy services.

He has served as a board member in many non-governmental organizations, especially at Hukukçular Derneği, Milli Gençlik Vakfı, Anadolu Gençlik Derneği, Genç Müsiad, Yedi Hilal Derneği. From 2013 to 2019, Yıldırım was the founding-Chairman of the International Refugee Rights Association.

Yıldırım is still a member of board of trustees of IHH-Humanitarian Relief Foundation and the President of the Federation of Refugee Associations.
